GOD SAVE THE QUEENS EXHIBITION.
Punk wasn't just about angry young men, safety pins and spiky hair. Some of its most fearless, influential and brilliantly rebellious pioneers were women. And now, they're getting the recognition they deserve.
God Save the Queens at London's Museum of Youth Culture celebrates 50 years of women who helped shape punk's music, fashion, art and attitude. From Poly Styrene and Siouxsie Sioux to The Slits and The Raincoats, these were women who broke the rules, challenged convention and changed culture forever.
Expect rare photography, iconic fashion, original artwork and previously unseen treasures from the archives of punk legends, alongside contributions from Zandra Rhodes, Lora Logic, Gina Birch and more.
A celebration of female creativity, rebellion and doing things your own way. Naturally, we're all over it.
This landmark exhibition runs from 23 October – 22 November at the Museum of Youth Culture ( 51 St Pancras Way, London NW1 0PZ) and is free to enter - but booking your spot in advance is advised. Find out how HERE.
