Lauren Gregory's Seven Things

Director of Crumb Agency and former pub landlady Lauren Gregory shares the 7 things she’s looking forward to this autumn. 

1. Red Wine
Ideally a Tuscan from Passione Vino. The colder and darker the evenings get, the more appealing a good bottle of red becomes.

2. Furry Crocs
The uglier, the better. My new pair are a particularly dank shade of lilac and I love them.

3. The New Series of Slow Horses
Massively looking forward to this. In another life, I’d quite like to be Kristin Scott Thomas’s character. The clothes. The attitude. The general air of not suffering fools.

4. Horseradish Sauce
It’s Sunday roast season. The best horseradish sauce I’ve found is Stokes - suitably fiery and an autumn fridge essential.

5. Eye Masks
Augustinus Bader when I want to feel glamorous. Beauty Pie when it’s less about glamour and more about survival.

6. Books
I’ve just finished London Falling and I can’t stop thinking about it. What a read.

7. Maggi Hambling
I’ve got my eye on one of her wave paintings for the wall - something to admire when I’m not actually out on a blustery coastal walk.
